Welcome to the Market Harborough Golf Club

Welcome
Market Harborough Golf Club was founded in 1898 when Queen Victoria was on the throne.

Located on the outskirts of the town, there is a challenging 18 hole golf course set in rolling countryside on the south Leicestershire and north Northamptonshire border.

The Club has a reputation for being very friendly and welcoming and new members soon feel very much a part of the Club.

Over the past two years the course has been redeveloped with the addition of 12 new bunkers. All existing bunkers have been reshaped or relocated too. If you've played the course before, but haven't been back for a couple of years, why not come along to experience the changes. We think you'll be impressed!

The Club is also an excellent venue for Golf Societies and other groups, with easy access to the Clubhouse after nine holes and a catering team that can provide you with everything you need for a successful day.

Tee Marker
Review from Today's Golfer written by Steve Jackson…

On the border between Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, this undulating course gets better the longer the round continues. At just over 6,000 yards off the back tees, it's not the longest track but several holes involve uphill shots so club selection is paramount. Water only comes into play once in the opening 15 holes, on the downhill par four ninth, but getting wet is a massive problem on the closing stretch. A good round of golf can be ruined on the longish par fours at 16 and 18 holes, while the short 17th can be an intimidating tee shot over a pond.
Far from ordinary.....closer than you think
