Buggie development
As members will be aware, Buggies were introduced during the past season. There had been initial concerns over HSE regulations and the cost of providing an adequate structure to house the buggies, both of which were unfounded and 4 second hand buggies were supplied on a monthly lease basis. Members have been charged £10, discounted to £5 if booked after 5.00 p.m. and the charge for non–members £20.
For the coming season a new rate option will be introduced. Members can pay £200 per season to be paid on 1st March. Bookings can only be made 2 weeks in advance of requirement and a ‘no-show' without 24 hours notice will be subject to a lost reservation fee of £5. There is no restriction on the number of times a buggy can be reserved for this payment. The £200 payment does not guarantee that a buggie will be available, if not reserved in advance.
To accommodate the potential demand, we will be leasing an additional buggie for next season.
Rates and rules for hiring buggies for the season 2011/12 will remain as for 2010/11.
