Winter coaching for juniors
Four of the club's Junior section have qualified for coaching this winter from the Leicestershire and Rutland County Golf Partnership. Charlotte Bowers, Emily Riddett, Alex Winter-Hall and Otis Harrison all attended talent days where their all-round golf skills were assessed under the watchful gaze of local club professionals.
Each of them showed enough ability to qualify for the coaching. Charlotte and Emily are attending Forest Hill Golf Club on Sundays while Alex and Otis go to Kilworth Springs on Saturdays every three weeks until the end of February.
They are all looking to getting their handicaps down when Spring arrives, having taken on board what they have learnt over the Winter.
