Rated as one of the best in Leicestershire our course boasts award winning greens, excellent tree lined fairways and superb views of the surrounding Leicestershire countryside.

Don’t be fooled by the relative shortness of the course at 6,100 yards. It will test the best of golfers with tight fairways, hill side lies and water features.

Established in 1898 as a 9 hole course it was the haunt of local farmers and Leicestershire gentry alike. The second 9 was added in 1993 and the course has been lengthened and improved over the years. In 2013 alone we planted and additional 200 new trees. So if you’ve played the course in the past or whether you’re visiting for the first time you can expect something new.

We’re sure you will enjoy the experience just as much as we do. We can’t guarantee you have a great round but we can guarantee you a friendly atmosphere, an excellent golf course and a very warm welcome.

This is what Steve Jackson of Today’s Golfer had to say when he visited the course:

“On the border between Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, this undulating course gets better the longer the round continues. At just over 6,000 yards off the back tees, it’s not the longest track but several holes involve uphill shots so club selection is paramount. Water only comes into play once in the opening 15 holes, on the downhill par four ninth, but getting wet is a massive problem on the closing stretch. A good round of golf can be ruined on the longish par fours at 16 and 18 holes, while the short 17th can be an intimidating tee shot over a pond”.
